Go Green for Springhill Hospice on Friday 16 May

£500 was raised for the Hospice at a Fizz Fashion show.

Patrick Altimas and 68 of his friends took part in Born Survivor, the ultimate military obstacle course last weekend to raise money for the Hospice.

Karen Stansfield, her partner Danny Roach and staff and parents from the PTA at Holy Trinity Primary School in Littleborough took part in the Greater Manchester Marathon on Sunday 6 April.

Marie Crook and Anoushka Shepherd are taking part in the London Marathon on Sunday 13 April for the Hospice.

Assist Recruitment have donated a huge amount of Easter eggs to the Hospice for them to be given out to patients and their families over Easter.

Dates for the Diary
Sunday 27 April – Hospice to Hospice Walk – the walk currently has 70 people signed up to take part with application forms still coming in to the Hospice. The Facebook page for the event also has an extra 40 people saying they are going to take part. Last year the walk had 120 people take part.

Woman of Rochdale
Nominations for the Woman of Rochdale are being received by the hospice. Any last minute entries this weekend will still be accepted but the closing date for nominations is Monday 14 April.

The hospice has also received a number of nominations for the Young Woman of Rochdale.

Go Green for Springhill
The Business Awards Lunch, which will take place on Go Green Day (Friday 16 May), will be going green this year.

Assist Recruitment, who help find staff for JD Sports are discussing ideas for Go Green Day. It is hoped that Assist and JD will work together for one big go green event.
