Heywood actor nominated for a BAFTA

Heywood actor, Nico Mirallegro has been nominated for a BAFTA.
The 23 year old actor has been nominated in the best supporting actor category for his role in TV series The Village.
The former Siddal Moor Sports College student is one of four male actors nominated in the category.
He is facing competition for the award from David Bradley of ITV’s Broadchurch, Rory Kinnear from Channel 4’s Southcliffe and Jerome Flynn of BBC One’s Ripper Street.
Nico has also appeared in shows including Hollyoaks, for which he received two British Soap Award nominations, Last Tango in Halifax, My Mad Fat Diary and Upstairs Downstairs.
The Village, which is also nominated for best drama series is set in Derbyshire in the 20th Century and aired on BBC One in spring 2013.
The BAFTA television awards will take place on Sunday 18 May.
