St Barnabas church graveyard earier in the year
Concerns have been raised about the state of the maintenance of St Barnabas church graveyard in Shore, Littleborough, with one local resident stating that no maintenance had been done in ‘well over a few months.’
Church Warden, Deana Perrin, said: “The combination of torrential rain and then sunshine over the past few weeks has caused the graveyard to look unkempt.
“Workers from the probation service usually keep our grounds clear, but we are currently looking to pay someone to help out.
“Our gardeners have been to the church twice this week. However, we do rely on donations and support from the local community, if you would like to volunteer to help, please get in touch with us.”
