Littleborough Arts Festival receives charitable status

Date published: 17 July 2014

Littleborough Arts Festival has received charitable status, after applying earlier this year.

This means that trustees now have a legal structure to work within. They are also now able to apply for funding from certain organisations who will only give grants to charities.

The Littleborough Arts Festival will begin on 23 August and will run until the 31 August.

Many events will be happening over the course of the week. On 26 August, the New Life Theatre Company will be performing a production of Parson’s Tale at the Trade Club.

On 27 August, a poetry open mic night will be held at the Red Lion Pub.

A concert will be held on 28 August at St Barnabas Church. On 30 August, a craft fair will be held at the Coach House and they will be joined by Littleborough Brass Band in the afternoon.

As well as these events, there will also be workshops going on throughout the week.
