Crime Prevention tip for the week

Offenders are still gaining entry through windows and doors that are left insecure along with unlocked sheds and garages. Please check your home security at all times, try not to keep valuable electrical items in the shed. It’s not unusual for burglars to use items found in a shed to break into your home. Remember to postcode your tools, consider engraving or painting the postcode onto the item. Use bicycle locks to secure items to something secure in your sheds or garages e.g. the ladders or workbench. Wheelie bins are sometimes used as a climbing aid or as a means of transporting property. Secure them.
