Break in at Inkspiration Tattoo Studio

Date published: 01 August 2014

Inkspiration, a tattoo studio on Drake Street, Rochdale, was broken into late evening on Sunday 27 July to the morning of Monday 28 July.

The owner, Robert Whittles, said: “They managed to get in through the back door. We did have CCTV footage set up in the shop, but the criminals managed to take it all away with them. They obviously knew what they were doing.”

“I believe it was an attempt to put me out of business, which is a real shame.”

Robert is offering three/four hours of free tattooing to anyone who can provide any information leading to the culprit’s arrest. This would usually cost £60 per hour.

The items that have been stolen from the premises:

  • £830 cash
  • Two Micky Sharpz Tattoo Machines
  • Three Hoodlem Tattoo Machines (one plain, one Marilyn Monroe, one Dollar Bill)
  • Three Hand-Built Custom Machines
