Rochdale is one of the top ten towns and cities in Britain with the most asylum seekers, currently housing 615 asylum seekers.
Greater Manchester handles one in six of all asylum seekers in Britain.
Home Office data shows more than 4,000 asylum seekers are currently housed across Greater Manchester. Manchester (779), and Bolton (755) are also among the top ten.
