Local artist, Christopher McHale has had his artwork selected to be displayed in Forster Dean Solicitors office.
Christopher, 19, a student had a still life painting chosen from his first end of year show.
Speaking about his work, Christopher said: “I started at Hopwood Hall College in September 2011 and I’ve been on the Fine Art course for a year. This painting is the best one I have painted so far and I’m really pleased with it.
“We did loads of drawing and painting in the first year and this was an opportunity to put all of the skills I have learned into one piece. I thought we worked hard last year but now we are back in the second year I have loads more to do and I absolutely love it.”
Christopher’s tutor, Ian MacKay said: “I’m delighted with the progress Chris has made. He works really hard and is really enjoying his work. This is a good opportunity for him to have his work seen by the public.”
