Rochdale Law Association donating to Springhill-Hospice
Rochdale Law Association raised £1,537.43 for Springhill Hospice by taking part in the Hospice Pyjama Walk.
Held in July, the Pyjama Walk saw over 200 walkers dressed in their pyjamas walk around Rochdale in the rain with the aim of raising as much money as possible for Springhill Hospice.
So far, the association has donated £862 of the funds to the hospice with the rest of the money going to the hospice via a Just Giving page. It is also hoped that further funds will be generated via the Just Giving page as the hospice can claim Gift Aid.
Pamela Walsh, President of the Law Association said: “On behalf of the association, I would just like to say how delighted we are at the amount raised and at the generosity of the general public to donating the money for us to be able to pass on to the hospice.”
