Anne Pelham at Fresh from the Studio

Date published: 19 October 2014

Author and playwright Anne Pelham took part in a meet the author event at Littleborough Creative Studio, Fresh from the Studio on Wednesday (15 October).

Anne, who has recently written and self published a book about World War 1, gave readings of her book to an audience and also took part in a discussion surrounding self publishing.

Elizabeth White who runs the studio said: “We had a few people in attendance who were interested in self publishing books so Anne was able to give a talk on that and offer advice about that. That was the creative connection to the studio.”

Located on Church Street, Littleborough, the studio saw around 20 people attend the event.

“We are only a small studio so I think we had about 20 people altogether which is full for us and it was a great evening. It was a really good night,” said Elizabeth.

Elizabeth added: “We are having a collage event so people can come along and create a collage. I think it will be hung in the library.”
