Seven charged following child sexual exploitation investigation

Seven people have been charged following an investigation into child sexual exploitation (CSE).
Jubair Rahman (09/11/1991) of Waterman View, Rochdale, has been charged with engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child, child abduction and arranging or facilitating commission of a child sex offence.
Hassan Ali (06/07/94) of no fixed abode, has been charged with conspiracy to engage in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15 and four counts of child abduction.
Bilal Ahmed (05/02/1988) of Tentercroft, Oldham, has been charged with conspiracy to engage in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15, four counts of child abduction, sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15 by penetration and sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15.
Dilon Rasul (01/01/1991) of Worsley Street, Oldham, has been charged with conspiracy to engage in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15.
Mohammed Suleman 01/11/67 of Worsley St, Oldham, has been charged with conspiracy to engage in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15.
A 16-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with conspiracy to engage in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15.
A 28-year-old man from Oldham has also been charged with conspiracy to engage in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15. [The case against this man was subsequently dropped.]
They are all due before Bury Magistrates on Friday 28 November 2014.
On Wednesday 26 November 2014, officers from the Sunrise Team arrested seven men and a 16-year-old boy as part of raids in the Rochdale and Oldham areas.
A 29-year-old man who was initially arrested has been released without charge.
