Middleton Trampoline Club van vandalised

Date published: 21 January 2015

A van belonging to Middleton Trampoline Club has been vandalised.

The van, which was parked on the driveway of club Head Coach, Lisa Lee had its back window and rear driver’s side light smashed on Monday (19 January) night.

At around 10:50pm yesterday, Lisa’s daughter witnessed a young man in a grey hooded tracksuit make his way onto the driveway on Edward Street, Middleton and smash the window and the rear driver’s side light with a crow bar.

It is understood that a car was then waiting around the corner for the man and once he had smashed the window and the light, he ran back to the car which was driven away in the direction of the Ring O’ Bells pub, Saint Leonard's Square.

Speaking about incident, Lisa said: “Now I have to find £150 to replace the signage and £75 on my excess which is just disgusting and so unfair.”

A spokesperson for the police said: “No arrests have yet been made but we are currently making enquires to see if anyone saw anything.”
