Tools stolen from industrial unit in Heywood

Around £8,000 worth of tools have been stolen from an industrial unit in Heywood.

The incident occurred on Monday 19 January between 6pm and 9pm when an unknown offender used a car to ram into the unit in Hooley Bridge Industrial Estate to gain access.

Once inside the unit, several items were stolen including a cement mixer, Dewalt tools, Hilti tools and a chainsaw.

The offender then made off in the car in an unknown direction.

There is no description of the offender and police have stated that no arrests have yet been made.

The owner of the tools, Neil Bradbury, is offering a reward for information or the return of the tools. He said: “The reward will depend on the information or what is returned.”
