Suspected Carbon Monoxide poisoning at Castlemere Community Centre

5pm Update: Affected roads are now open.
Mere Street and William Street are currently closed (4pm Wednesday 28 January) whilst emergency services deal with a possible carbon monoxide leak at Castlemere Community Centre.
Police have evacuated the Community Centre and neighbouring Central Mosque, with a number of surrounding buildings also being evacuated.
11 people are currently being treated for suspected carbon monoxide poisoning with three having been taken to hospital and eight still on scene.
The police, fire service, ambulance service and national grid are all on scene.
A spokesperson for National Grid has confirmed that they have an investigator on scene.
