Launch of the 2016 Springhill Hospice calendar photo competition

Date published: 29 January 2015

Springhill Hospice is starting to prepare for their 2016 Hospice calendar.

As sales of the 2015 calendar come to an end, it is time to start thinking of next year’s calendar and potential images that could be used.

Every year the hospice calendar is illustrated with twelve photographs of local scenes and events from across the borough, covering all four seasons.

The fundraising team behind the calendar are now inviting photographers of all ages and abilities to enter the competition and are particularly interested in receiving photos that record local events and anniversaries.

The photographs are then selected by the means of an open competition.

The competition will be open until 31 March 2015 with the calendar launch planned for September 2015.

You can enter as many photographs as you want. The entry fee is a minimum £5 for up to five prints with an extra 50p for each additional print.

Entry forms for the competition can be downloaded below or can be picked up from the Hospice and the Hospice shops.

Forms can also be requested by emailing sarah.ford17@nhs.net and quoting '2016 Hospice calendar competition'.

Remaining 2015 calendars are available in the Hospice shops and other outlets at a discounted price of £1.50.
