Snow affecting some bus services (8.40am 30 January 2015)

Most bus services are experiencing delays or are being diverted in places due to snow and wintry road conditions, according to operators.

The following changes to services have been reported:

403 (Shaw - High Crompton Circular) suspended

404 (Shaw - High Crompton Circular) suspended

425 (Fitton Hill - Oldham - Holts Estate) accessing Holts terminus via Lees New Road and Wild Moor Avenue, unable to serve Alt estate

438 (Rochdale - Daniel Fold - Lane Head) suspended

446 (Rochdale - Healey Corner - Wallbank) running direct between Rochdale and Healey Corner via Shawclough Road, omitting Shawclough estate and Wallbank

447 (Rochdale - Shawclough - Wallbank) running between Rochdale and Healey Corner only

448 (Rochdale - Syke - Shawclough) running via 440 route to and from Syke Chapel

454 (Rochdale - Stansfield) terminating at Littleborough, unable to serve Shore or Stansfield

457 (Rochdale - Stansfield) terminating at Littleborough, unable to serve Shore or Stansfield

461 (Bury - Norden) unable to serve Elmsfield


The conditions and forecast mean that bus operators may have to make further temporary changes to their services at short notice - so please check with the company that runs your specific bus for any updates before travelling. Please also allow extra time for your journey - and take care.
