Search begins for Rochdale’s Diversity Champions 2015

Nominations are now being accepted for Rochdale Diversity Awards 2015.

The Diversity Awards aim to recognise contributions made by individuals, groups and/or organisations in making progress within their organisations and/or communities towards inclusion, cohesion and diversity within the workplace and/or service provision.

The award categories for 2015 are:

1. Cohesion Award - sponsored by Rochdale Safer Communities Partnership
2. Workforce Diversity Award - sponsored by the Great Places Housing Group
3. Diversity in Apprenticeships - sponsored by The Regenda Group
4. Diversity in Education Award - sponsored by Rochdale Training
5. Diversity in Health and Leisure Award - sponsored by Pennine Care
6. Diversity in Housing Award - sponsored by Rochdale Boroughwide Housing
7. Breaking Barriers Award - sponsored by Link 4 Life
8. Voluntary & Faith Sector Award - sponsored by Council for Voluntary Services Rochdale
9. Outstanding Achievement in Diversity - sponsored by Greater Manchester Police

Nomination forms and further details on the judging process can be accessed from KYP’s website www.kyp.org.uk/2015-awards

Nomination forms must reach KYP, Unique Enterprise Centre, Belfield Road, Rochdale, OL16 2UP by post or email (rda@kyp.org.uk) no later than 12 noon on Friday 27 March 2015.

The awards ceremony is planned for Thursday the 28 May 2015 at Rochdale Town Hall.
