Family want to thank whoever returned lost ring

Date published: 06 March 2015

Paula Mullins and her dad Brian Rowland, from Littleborough, want to find the person who returned Brian’s lost ring and thank them.

Brian lost the ring two weeks ago whilst out shopping in Rochdale.

Paula said: “He was devastated when he lost the ring. It was given to him by my mum and she died eight years ago. It meant a lot to him so he was really upset when he realised it was missing.”

Brian is not sure how he lost the ring or even where it ended up.

Paula added: “It could have been in Rochdale or it could have been on the bus. It could have been anywhere really.”

The ring was then returned to Brian on Thursday (5 march) but the family have no idea who found it.

“It was put through the letterbox in an envelope but it didn’t say who it was from or anything. It has to be someone who knows me and my dad because I put the information online but not the address,” said Paula.

Paula and Brian would now like to thank the person who found and returned the ring.

Paula said: “We just want to thank them really because the ring meant a lot to my dad and he thought it was gone forever. He thought he would never see it again so he is really pleased to have it back.”

If the person who returned the ring would like to make contact with Paula and Brian, then please contact Rochdale Online via info@rochdaleonline.co.uk and your contact details will be passed on.
