Consulate General of Pakistan and NADRA Team help local community

The Consulate General of Pakistan Team with councillors Aasim Rashid, Mohammed Zaman and Samina Zaheer, together with local community members, helped more than 100 people to deal with their national ID cards, passports, and visa applications at Deeplish Community Centre on 21 March.

Sohail Ahmad, manager at Deeplish Community Centre, commented: “We continue to promote the good work and best practices at Deeplish Community Centre whilst responding to local community needs.”

Councillor Mohammed Zaman said: "This is great service and help to elderly residents who find it difficult to travel to Manchester due to ill health, disability or mobility issues. He added: "We are always willing to help and support vulnerable adults and children in matters they require assistance."

Councillor Aasim Rashid said: "We are happy to assist consulate General Staff in ensuring best possible support for them to bring their office locally and help local community. Headded: "It's a good idea to deliver outreach session where there is a great transparency, organisation and discipline in delivering local services to local communities."
