Collision causes closure on Manchester Road

A collision involving a green Ford Focus and a black drop-side lorry on Manchester Road, Castleton resulted in the road being closed.
The accident occurred at around 3.31pm outside of Pick ‘n’ Save.
An area outside of Pick ‘n’ Save is currently cordoned off whilst police deal with the incident.
Although an ambulance was called to the scene for a 24-year-old man, there were no serious injuries.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
