Movie photo shoot lands in Middleton

The people behind a new movie called ‘Womble’ were in Middleton recently as they held a photo shoot at the home of the Middleton Popstars.

When the company behind the film wanted to grab a few promotional pictures of Jimmy alongside the film’s lead actor, Tom Spencer, they wanted to find an appropriate location and backdrop.

Jimmy thought a perfect location would be the Bojangles Theatre at the Middleton Popstars’ headquarters, because it was near to his home in Rochdale.

Jimmy said: "When I got asked about a place where these important publicity shots could be taken, I thought the Middleton popstars own theatre was ideal.’

"As I am going there on 11 July to do a show with all the gang at the Popstars, it was only natural this venue sprung to my mind.

"But it turned out to be just great.

"Praise also to Anne from the Popstars for allowing us to base ourselves at the theatre for the afternoon’s photo shoot."
