Star Wars actor donates Clone Trooper helmet to help raise funds to replace stolen charity money

Darth Vader, Dave Prowse MBE, presents Martin Ballard with the signed Clonetrooper Helmet
Andrew Lawden, who appeared in Episode 1 of Star Wars, has donated a Clone Trooper helmet, which every one of the actors signed, to help raise funds to replace charity money stolen in the break in at The Chocolate Bar last week.
The helmet will be auctioned via the Dale-Con website (www.dale-con.co.uk) to raise as much money as possible to replace charity money which had been raised for the family of Danny Jones, the rugby player who recently died after suffering a heart attack during a game.
Owner of the cafe and Dale Con 3 organiser, Martin Ballard, said: “The break-in was bad enough, and nearly caused a problem both for the café and the Dale-Con event, but when we found they'd smashed open the bucket which was clearly labelled 'Danny Jones Fund' and also taken the staff's tip jar, it beggared believe that people would stoop so low.”
