A number of people are taking part in the Rochdale Half Marathon on Sunday (23 August) in aid of Springhill Hospice.

The Springhill Hospice calendar will launch at a special event on Thursday 27 August. The fundraising team have taken delivery of the new calendars, diaries and Christmas cards.

John Fitzpatrick will be having his head shaved and his chest waxed in aid of the Hospice on Thursday 27 August at The Eagle pub.

Eight-year-old Abbie Taylor and her grandad Paul Stone cycled their way around the Greater Manchester Cycle and raised £113 for the Hospice.
The Beechwood Lodge Summer Fair in Norden raised £1,000 for the Hospice.

The Hospice at Home support team recently completed bag packs in the Heywood Aldi store and the Kingsway Morrisons store. From Aldi, the team collected £189.96 and from Morrisons they collected £216.84.

The next food and drink event will take place at Istanblue in Royton on Monday 21 September. For tickets or more information, contact the fundraising team on 01706 641790.

Hospice Mixed Pairs Bowling Competition

Held at Castleton Bowling Club, the competition will see six local mixed bowling teams compete for the bowl and winning title.

Thursday 8 October
Lucy Cobb Fashion Show

Held at the Hospice, the show will start at 7pm. Contact the fundraising team on 01706 641790 for tickets.
