Date published: 26 August 2015

A Whitworth man is distraught after his van was stolen in Littleborough with his pet Jack Russell terrier still inside.

Ben McKay was visiting his daughter on Milnrow Road, Smithy Bridge on Tuesday afternoon (25 August). When he returned to his van at around 3pm, both the van and Buddy were gone.

The van is a small white Mercedes, registration number DK14 YCC.

Ben's daughter, Jenny McKay-Jones said "Buddy goes everywhere with my dad and he is heartbroken. He just wants to find him."

The family has offered a reward for Buddy's return. If you have information, please contact 07786 076 513.

UPDATE:
