Monday 28 September

Following a number of reports of damage to vehicles on the evening of Saturday 26 and the morning of Sunday 27 September along Rochdale Road/Oldham Road, police are asking if anyone has any CCTV that may assist them.

A man was arrested on warrant and going equipped.

Paul Tordoff (17/11/1982), from Rochdale, has been charged with criminal damage and has been bailed with conditions to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 13 November.

Adam Kowal (21/01/1973), from Rochdale, has been charged with drink driving, no driving licence and no insurance and has been bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 13 November.

Connor Finnerty (04/07/1997), from Rochdale, has been charged with criminal damage and was bailed with conditions to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 12 October.

Ogrodnik Grzagorz (22/11/1988) has been charged with drink drive, driving without due care and attention and no driving licence. Grzagorz has been bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 13 November.

A man was arrested for breach of a court order.

Dean Boyd (05/12/1994), from Middleton, was arrested on warrant for breaching a court order and was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Tuesday 29 September

A Rochdale man was arrested for conspiracy.

A man from Rochdale was arrested for assault and criminal damage.

A 29-year-old female was arrested for breach of bail.

Paul Dickinson (31/08/1979), from Rochdale, has been charged with theft from a motor vehicle and going equipped and was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Dean Boyd (05/12/1994), from Rochdale, was charged with breach of bail and was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

A Rochdale man was arrested for breach of bail.

A man was arrested for burglary and disqualified driving.

A female was arrested for harassment.

Wednesday 30 September

A man was arrested on warrant.

A Rochdale man was arrested for criminal damage.

A 15-year-old male has been charged with criminal damage and has been bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Youth Court on 15 October.

Matthew Shaw (23/10/1992), local to Heywood, was charged with breach of the peace was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

James Dignam (31/03/1952), from Rochdale, answered his bail and has since been charged with producing controlled drugs and was bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 20 November.

Scott Hackin (09/12/1974), from Heywood, has been charged with breaching a court order and was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Aaron Hood (10/09/1993), from Castleton, has been charged with an assault and harassment and was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Leslie Simpson (18/07/1977), from Kirkholt, has been charged with disqualified driving and no insurance. He was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Thursday 1 October

A 34-year-old man arrested on suspicion of committing fraud has been released on bail to re-appear at Bury Custody Office on 29 October pending further enquiries.

A 35-year-old man arrested on suspicion of committing fraud has been released on bail to re-appear at Bury Custody Office on 29 October pending further enquiries.

Deborah Walton (16/09/1966), from Rochdale, has been charged with criminal damage and was bailed with conditions to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 19 October.

Friday 2 October

Police have arrested a juvenile who is in breach of his criminal behaviour order.

There has been an increase in theft from motor vehicles on the Langley estate in Middleton this week.

There has been increased policing activity at Alkrington in response to a general increase in acquisitive crime (burglary, shed breaks and theft from vehicles).

Police continue to receive reports of youth generated anti-social behaviour around Grimshaw Lane so patrols have increased in the area.

Police are advising people that it is vital that you lock your windows and doors and also ensure that your vehicle is locked. Thieves will always try doors and windows first and if yours are locked often they will move on elsewhere.
