Hundreds of jobs on offer for Christmas rush

Date published: 13 October 2015

Parcel firm Yodel is creating 784 jobs in the North-West in the run up to Christmas.

The jobs will be based in Middleton, Warrington, Carlisle and Preston.

Yodel will recruit 101 drivers, who will be provided with branded uniforms and a liveried van, and 292 owner drivers, who will provide their own vans. Both groups will be based at local service centres.

Another 370 self-employed couriers will join the company with their own cars to deliver and collect smaller parcels, while self-employed couriers will work from home and do local deliveries.
