Launched by the Rochdale Hornets Sporting Foundation, the event featured bands made up of students from Matthew Moss High School. The bands, Third Forgiveness and The Runners, will now be participating in the programme.

The event also saw appearances from Rochdale Hornets CEO Ryan Bradley and professional musician, Nigel Pickering, who will be delivering coaching and tutoring throughout the programme.

Rochdale Rocks has been funded by the Arts Council and is in conjunction with Curious Minds and Rugby League Cares. The programme will consist of 12 sessions of coaching and mentoring.
