Two drivers taken to hospital following collision at Townhead Junction

Two drivers have been taken to hospital this morning (Tuesday 24 November) following a road traffic collision at Townhead Junction.
It is understood that the accident happened at the crossroads close to Dunelm Mill between Yorkshire Street and Whitworth Road.
Police were called to the incident between a Toyota Avensis and a Ford S-Max at 7.31am.
It is currently unclear what injuries the drivers sustained but it is thought that they were taken to hospital as a precaution.
