Monday 23 November
At around 11.30pm on Sunday (22 November) evening a 52-year-old man was arrested and charged for drink driving. He is on bail to appear at court on 8 January 2016.

Tuesday 24 November
PCSO Amjad Mahmood and PCSO Islamiat Onigbanjo gave crime prevention advice to carers at the Carers Resource Centre.

PC Ibbotson and PC Jones visited the Cub Scouts at St Paul's in Norden. The Cubs were given a demonstration of police equipment and then given the opportunity to handle some of the items before asking lots of questions about being a police officer and what the job entails. A great time was had by all.

Wednesday 25 November
A neighbourhood speed watch was conducted near a primary school in Norden where 14 out of 28 vehicles were travelling over the 20mph speed limit for the road.

Thursday 26 November
Officers at Rochdale Police Station are making up Christmas hampers. If anyone would like to donate any food, tins, non-perishables etc, please hand them in at the Rochdale Police Station front desk.

In the last 24 hours, Officers from Rochdale East have responded to:

  • Four Burglary.
  • Three Theft From A Vehicle. 
  • Two Theft Of A Vehicle.
  • Two Other Burglary.

John Jolley 16/10/87 is wanted on warrant for failing to appear at court. He is believed to be in the Heywood area. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

Friday 27 November
Officers attended the Kirkholt Christmas light switch on event yesterday (Thursday 26 November), handing out crime reduction packs and letting the children make police keying's using their fingerprints and dressing up in mini police uniforms.
