Mayor of Rochdale's Grand Charity Ball

Tickets are selling fast for the Mayor of Rochdale's Grand Charity Ball.
The glittering social event takes place a Rochdale Town Hall on Saturday 25 March. The Mayor, Councillor Ashley Dearnley is hosting the event, which begins at 7.30pm, in favour of his chosen charity, Springhill Hospice.
Tickets are £32.50 per head, and are available from Mayor's Officer, Rina Paolucci. They can be purchased from Rochdale town hall, or booked by telephone on (01706) 924760 or email to rina.paolucci@rochdale.gov.uk
The evening begins at 7.00pm with a bucks fizz reception and canapés in the Exchange. 'Highly Strung' will play as guests arrive.
Dinner is a 5 course meal with a piano accompaniment. After dinner the Tommy Lowe Big Band will entertain until 12.30am.
A few tickets are also available for 'An evening with Julie Goodyear', also in aid of the Mayor's Charity Fund. The event takes place at Veena's restaurant, Heywood on Tuesday 21 February, 7.30pm.
