New Year, new baby!

The first baby of the new year was at Rochdale Infirmary Maternity Unit at eight minutes past midnight today (1 January 2009).
Aairah Suleman was born to Shabana and Mohammed Suleman of Turf Hill, Rochdale and weighs a healthy 7lbs 4ozs. Aairah is the Suleman's third child, their first was sadly still born and the second is now 2 years old.
Mrs Suleman said: "I am very happy, Aairah is a wonderful new year present."
