Churches take the fight to metal thieves

The Diocese of Manchester is hosting a metal theft seminar in Rochdale to help parishes prevent the theft of lead from their church roofs.

The meeting will take place at St Martin's Church in Castleton on Tuesday 17 March between 7 and 8.30pm.

The seminar is part of a county wide initiative by the Diocese to prevent metal theft with further meetings scheduled for Manchester and Bolton.
