Dale sign another keeper

Rochdale have added another goalkeeper to their ranks following the signing of Kenny Arthur from Accrington Stanley last week.

Matthew Edwards joins the club having been released from Leeds United in the summer. Like Arthur, the 18-year old 6ft 3in stopper will link up with Dale from the start of next month.

He told the club's official website: "I'm looking forward to it.

"I have met with a few faces around the ground and it has a good vibe about it.

"I already knew Ian Wilcox from the goalkeeping coaching at Leeds and it was he who introduced me to the club."
