Scunthorpe go cold on Dawson

Scunthorpe United appear to have turned their attentions to other defenders after reports suggest Rochdale have turned down two bids for their young star Craig Dawson.

Dale are believed to have turned down an improved offer for the 19-year-old centre half last week and a second knock back appears to have put the Iron off.

Manager Nigel Adkins appears to now be looking at other options as the club bids to stay in the Championship.
