Dale linked with Hereford winger

Rochdale have been linked with a move for Hereford winger Marc Pugh.

The 22-year-old is out of contract at Edgar Street at the end of the season and with no sign of him agreeing a new contract, the Bulls may accept a bid for Pugh during the January transfer window.

Dale are among a list of clubs rumoured to be interested in Pugh's services.

The winger has hit six goals for Hereford so far this term.

Keith Hill said after Tuesday's game with Aldershot that Dale need more attacking options on the bench if they are to close in on a first promotion in more than 40 years.
