Dale bring in Premiership winger

Rochdale have moved to replace winger Will Atkinson, who returned to parent club Hull City last week, by bringing in another Premier League wide man.

Keith Hill has brought young Blackburn Rovers talent Andy Haworth to Rochdale for the remainder of the season.

The 21-year-old can play on either side or as a striker and is described as having pace and trickery to beat a man.

Haworth has not played for Blackburn this season but has spent time on loan at non-league Gateshead, making six appearances between November and December.

He comes straight into the Dale squad to face Cheltenham tomorrow, 3pm kick off at Whaddon Road.
