Buckley moves to Watford

Speculation surrounding Rochdale winger Will Buckley's future was ended this week after he signed for Championship club Watford.

The fee for the 20-year-old has not been disclosed but rumours suggest it is more than £200,000 plus add-on clauses.

Buckley has not played for Rochdale since the end of November and speculation over a possible move increased at the weekend after he was named in Dale's starting line-up at Cheltenham but pulled out during the warm up.

Buckley made a total of 69 appearances in his Rochdale career, scoring 13 goals, including three this season. He hit the winner in the 2-1 win at Northampton, aswell as finding the net in the wins over Darlington and Hereford.
