Dale sign Liverpool striker

Rochdale AFC has signed 20-year-old striker Nathan Eccleston, on a month long loan from Liverpool FC.

Eccleston made his first team debut for Liverpool in October 200; he then went on to make seven first team appearances last season, including in the Europa League.

He moved out on loan to Charlton Athletic in January of this year where he remained until the end of the season.

He has previously also spent time on loan at Huddersfield Town.

Speaking to the Club’s website, Dale manager Steve Eyre, said: "I'm very grateful to Liverpool for their co-operation.

“He's a very good man, he's a got a lot of fire in his belly, a lot of talent and he loves to score a goal.”
