Dale appoint Coleman as manager
Date published: 24 January 2012
Rochdale AFC has appointed Accrington Stanley’s John Coleman as their new manager.
Coleman, who will be unveiled at a news conference later today, had been in charge at Stanley since 1999. He will take the reins from caretaker manager Chris Beech who has been in charge at Spotland since Steve Eyre left in December.
A statement on the club’s website said: “Rochdale have reached an agreement with Accrington Stanley for the services of manager John Coleman.”

Welcome aboard John. Best of luck in your quest to avoid the drop. We have the players, they just need a firm hand, and someone who actually understands what's needed. Good players don't become bad players overnight. If you can get them believing in themselves again, you have half the battle won. Up the Dale.
