Graham Cummins bailed over spot-fixing probe

One of the seven players arrested in connection with alleged spot-fixing in matches is on loan to Rochdale.
Graham Cummins, 26, who moved to Spotland on loan from from Preston North End in September 2013, was arrested on Thursday.
Cummins has expressed his innocence and has been bailed.
Cummins played signed for his local club, Cork City in March 2010.
He played for the Ireland U23 squad versus Estonia in September 2010 and in the same year was named in the PFAI First Division Team of the Year (for the third time) and won the PFAI First Division Player of the Year award.
He was transferred from Cork to Preston North End in January 2011 having helped Cork clinch the First Division title with 24 goals, a Cork
record, including the goal that clinched the First Division title for Cork City away to rivals Shelbourne in the 94th minute of the final game of the season.
Spot-fixing is where a player corruptly influences a specific element of a match, for example by intentionally getting a yellow card or conceding a corner, without trying to fix the final score.
