Dale bank £100,000 from Lambert sell-on clause

Dale have benefited to the tune of £100,000 from a sell-on clause when former Rochdale player Rickie Lambert moved from Southampton to Liverpool for about £4.5million.
Lambert, who is currently with the England squad for the World Cup, also donated his England shirt to help raise funds for assistant manager Chris Beech’s young son Brendan, who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis.
