Dale offer one of the cheapest days out in league one

Date published: 16 October 2015

Watching Dale at Spotland continues to be one of the cheapest days out in League One, according to the latest figures from the BBC’s Price of Football Survey.

They’ve calculated that an adult (home supporter) paying on the day can attend the match, purchase a programme, a pie and a cup of tea all for £23.50.

That’s cheaper than every club in League One except for Wigan Athletic, where the day out is just 90p cheaper.

Dale’s cheapest adult matchday ticket is priced at £17, which is between £1 and £8 less expensive than the cheapest amount charged by 21 other clubs in League One.

In addition, Rochdale’s most expensive ticket (£22) is the cheapest in the ‘most expensive’ category. The £22 is less expensive than, or the same price as, every other clubs’ most expensive ticket, with prices elsewhere in the division ranging between £22 and £30.

Dale also offer the cheapest pies in the division, as well as one of the least expensive cups of tea.
