Ernie Cooksey benefit game

Oldham Athletic have announced details of a special end of season game organised for Ernie Cooksey.

The popular former Dale and Latics midfielder is currently undergoing treatmant for cancer and the proceeds from the game will go towards the cost of it. A Celebrity John Sheridan XI will take on an Oldham/Rochdale XI at Boundary Park on Sunday 11 May, 2.00pm kick off. Admission is £5.00 for adults and £2.00 for concessions.

The Oldham Athletic fans forum have organised the full use of the Sponsors suite for the game and are selling tickets for £15 for the match.

For your £15 you would get:

• A box seat, in the official OAFC Sponsors Suite
• Pie and Peas Lunch
• Fully Licenced Bar
• Interviews With some of the stars playing in the match, conducted by Gordon Lawton
• The Lounge will be open from 12Noon until 4pm

Ernie, joined Dale from Oldham Athletic made a total of 96 appearances in Dale colours and scored 8 goals before moving on to Boston United and then to Grays Athletic.
