Tip closure

The Household Waste Recycling Centre on Peel Lane, Heywood, will close at 8.00pm tonight (21 September) as part of a bid by Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority (GMWDA) to save money.
Sites in Shaw, Prestwich and Bolton will also close.
Councillor Neil Swannick, Chair of the Authority said “The Authority did not want to close any sites, but unfortunately financial savings had to be made”.
