Connor Ronan, who plays football at Wolves Football Academy, has won Wolves Academy Player of the Year.

Connor joined Wolves as an apprentice following his time as a schoolboy player at Rochdale FC.

After an impressive first year as an apprentice at Wolves he has now been invited to compete for a place in Wolves senior teams.

From Rochdale, he now lives in Wolverhampton with one of the club's host families not far from Molineux.

A spokesperson from his former school in Rochdale, St Cuthbert's RC High School, said: “Congratulations Connor, well deserved.”
