Dale fans Simon Hammonds and Peter Oliver will cycle to Amsterdam to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK
With just over a week to go until Dale fans Simon Hammonds and Peter Oliver get on their bikes for Prostate Cancer UK, the pair have reached their fundraising target.
By signing up to represent Rochdale Football Club in the Cycle to Amsterdam Challenge, the duo pledged to raise a minimum of £1,000 each, and they broke through their £2,000 target on Tuesday evening.
They will cycle 145-miles over two days from Yorkshire to Amsterdam, leaving Barnsley on 3 June.
The Cycle to Amsterdam Challenge is backed by the Football League, with over 500 representatives from clubs from across the county taking part.
