Tenerife pre-season training camp

The first team flew to Tenerife on Thursday morning as part of their pre-season training programme. The squad will spend seven days at the T3 facility.

Josh Lillis said: “Coming away is brilliant for us, it takes all the distractions away, you’re all in the one complex and you train in the morning and in the evening. It’s also good to get used to the new lads, who can integrate with the older lads.

“It’s a great working week with the management who can get across what they want and reiterate what we’ve been doing over the last couple of years.”

Chairman's anniversary

It is 10 years this week since Chris Dunphy was appointed chairman of Rochdale Football Club.

A spokesperson said: "On behalf of everybody at Rochdale AFC, we would like to congratulate Chris on this achievement and thank him for transforming our great club."

Put your questions to the players

Fans will be given the opportunity to put their questions to the players on a regular basis throughout the 2016-17 season thanks to a new feature in Dale’s match day programme.

Throughout the season, a different player will feature in each league edition of The Voice of Spotland.

The club says it would love the feature to be completely fan driven and hopes you will get involved by sending in questions.

Each player will be selected in advance of each fixture.

Jim McNulty, who played all 46 league games for Dale last season, is up first and questions are being taken for him now.

Programme sellers wanted

The club is looking for enthusiastic individuals to help sell the match day programme ‘The Voice Of Spotland’ at all home matches in the upcoming season.

For two hours of your time you will receive a free match ticket plus a sellers fee.
