Heywood teams for weekend

Date published: 07 July 2016

Michael Witts makes his senior debut for Heywood on a busy weekend for the 14-year-old.

He is called into the first team for the Archway T20 Cup quarter-final at Edgworth on Friday night.

The following day he is in the second team for the trip to Irlam in a division three fixture.

And on Sunday he again features in the third team, who go to South West Manchester for a last 16 tie in the Per-Fit 3rd X1 Cup.

Missing from the first team again on Friday night are father and son Chris and Dominic Humphreys (holidays), plus Jack Morley – who has a North of England representative date against the Midlands. That means call-ups, too, for the Fawcett brothers, Adam and Dominic, in a side captained by professional Danny Pawson.

With the Humphreys duo again missing, Pawson also captains the first team at home to Denton West at Crimble on Saturday.
