Norden launch women’s cricket section

Norden Cricket Club has launched a women’s cricket section.
Training sessions will be held on 17, 24 and 31 August, from 6-30pm to 8.00pm, with a view to playing friendly matches in September.
A club spokesperson said: "All abilities are welcome, and only personal training kit is needed for those attending. The club will provide cricket equipment.
"Those interested are asked to report to either Dexter Fitton or Nick Fairchild on their arrival at Stag Park, Norden."
