Littleborough RUFC President, David Rawlinson, his wife, Jane Rawlinson, and club members at Twickenham
Littleborough RUFC were nominated for ‘Club of the Year and club President, David Rawlinson, and his wife, Jane Rawlinson, along with couple club members, went to Twickenham to be present at the National Rugby Club Awards in the Rose Room.
David Rawlinson said: “We were entered into the award and were nominated to be in the top six clubs in the country, which although we didn’t win it was a wonderful achievement.
“Although we were not selected as overall winners we were the only northern club to be nominated.
“Obviously it is a great honour for Littleborough RUFC to be nominated in the first place and many thanks goes to all the hard working officials and especially to the support of all the club members.”
